- Electroless nickel deposits have excellent adhesion to all metals that can be treated.
- Good adhesion of the deposit depends to a large extent on the preparatory range that the parts undergo before treatment.
- The chemical composition and microstructural state (quenched and tempered; nitrided; cold-rolled, etc.) of special steels and alloys must be indicated in order to obtain the best bonding results.
- Heat treatment after deposition (~220°C) perfects adhesion to steels, and especially aluminum alloys (~190°C).
